Book recommendations!

As I said in my '10 facts about me' post, I love reading.
I thought I would do a little book recommendation, this is only going to include books that I own. I'll probably do a kindle version soon (I use my kindle loads)

I'm starting with one of my favourite books (and favourite authors!) ROOM by Emma Donoghue. This book is amazing! I highly recommend this book (and almost every other book she's written!) I'm a sucker for happy endings and I absolutely love the story line. This is an emotional story, and even more emotional because the protagonist is a child and he doesn't really see the bad in whats going on at first. It's about kidnap and escape, i'm not going to tell you much about it because I don't want to ruin it.

This is another one of my favourite books THE RAPTURE by Liz Jensen (and favourite authors, again) It's basically about the end of the world, but it's unusual because a little girl see's everything coming when she gets ECT (electroconvulsive therapy). It's a brilliant book!

My favourite book by Liz Jensen would be 'My Dirty Little Book Of Stolen Time' I don't currently have this book but I highly recommend it.

This isn't actually my book, I lent this book off my nan. NOTHING IS FOREVER by June Tate. This book is lovely! but it's also really sad at times (not going to lie, I did actually cry a bit when I read this) I'm going to re-read this book pretty soon before I give it back to my nan because it was that good. It's based during the war, the protagonist is one of the nicest people I have ever read about (Yes, I know she's not real but if she was I would love to meet her & probably work for her too)

Everyone should read this book.

This is the most recent book I've read (not including my kindle) APPLE OF MY EYE by Patrick Redmond. This book is not what I expected, it does contain some plot twists and I did think it should have been longer at the end, there were stuff I would have liked to have known but it was quite good.

I don't know if it's good enough to recommend because I was quite disappointed with the ending but I added it into this blog post anyway because it's my most recent read.

Tell me some of your favourite books?
