I came across this tag on Lipsticks and Lashes and thought that I would have a go :) To read their version click here.
Let's go!
Do you remember how you developed a love for reading
I have no idea what-so-ever, apparently I've loved reading ever since I learnt to read! (I used to be a big fan of Jacqueline Wilson and Roald Dahl)
Where do you usually read?
I usually read for an hour or two before I go to bed, or curled up on the sofa with a blanket in the Winter.
Do you prefer to read one book at a time or several at once?
One, definitely! I've tried reading two at the same time and I just get so lost and confused! I don't know how people can do that!
What is your favourite genre?
Horrors/thrillers! Oo, I just love them! I also love psychological thrillers and the occasional old-fashioned romance.
Is there a genre you will not read?
Hmm, I'm not a big fan of Autobiography's, I can't get into them at all! No matter who it is, I just get bored of them.. I'd much rather watch a documentary of the person instead.
Do you have a favourite book?
I have far too many aha! I think that at the moment my favourite book would be.. 'Misery' by Stephen King.. I read it for the first time a few months a go and then watched the film and I just loved it.
What is your least favourite book?
No idea.
What is the longest book you have ever read?
I'm not too sure really as I've read a lot of books on my Kindle and I never check the pages or anything..
What was the last book you bought?
The last book that I brought was 'IT' by Stephen King, haven't gotten round to reading it yet though.
Do you prefer library books or buying books?
I love going to the Library and borrowing books but I think Ii prefer buying books because then they're yours and you can re-read them in your own time and keep them for as long as you like.
What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading 'The  Witch's Cradle'  by Gillian White.. I'm a bit lost with what to do with this book.. I'm around 75% of the way through it and I just don't really care what happens anymore, I've lost interest in it.. I can't decide whether to keep reading and see if I get more into it, or just stop and read something else? AH.
Where do you buy your books?
I buy my books anywhere and everywhere! Most of the time though, I get them from local charity shops because there's quite a few where I live and loads by where I work.
Do you ever pre-order books?
I never used to, but owning a Kindle has changed me aha!
How many books do you buy a month?
It depends on money and what I books come out/ what books I come across.
How do you feel about second hand charity shop books?
As I said before, I get most of my books from charity shops! They're cheaper and most of the time they're in great condition!
Do you keep your read and to-be-read books together?
Yes, I don't know how I don't get confused with read and unread? I own so many!
Do you plan to read all the books you own?
Of course!
What do you do with books you own that you know won't be re-read?
It depends, I keep them if I enjoyed them, I sometimes lend/give them to my mum or nan or I donate them to a local charity shop that I used to work in before I got a full time job.
Have you ever donated books?
Yes I do.
Have you ever been on a book buying ban?
Yes! I go a bit overboard when I'm on my Kindle. I'm also currently on a Kindle ban so I don't spend money on books!
Do you think you own too many books?
You can never own too many books!
