Top 5: Books (that I own)

by - 11:14:00

All of these book I have read more than once and I still plan on re-reading them again.
They are just brilliant, that is why I decided to share them with you lovely lot!

I am going to start with The King, this is my current favourite book by him and if you haven't read it then I recommend that you should, you will not put it down!
'Misery Chastain is dead. Paul Sheldon has just killed her - with relief, with joy. Misery made him rich; she was the heroine of a string of bestsellers. And now he wants to get on with some real writing.
That's when the car accident happens, and he wakes up in pain in a strange bed. But it isn't a hospital. Annie Wilkes has pulled him from the wreck, brought him to her remote mountain home, splinted and set his mangled legs.
The good news is that Annie was a nurse and has pain-killing drugs. The bad news is that she has long been Paul's Number One Fan. And when she finds out what Paul has done to Misery, she doesn't like it.
She doesn't like it at all..'

The second book that I am going to mention is just so engaging and brilliant and pacy and I just love it!
'In a merciless summer of biblical heat and destructive winds, Gabrielle Fox's main concern is to rebuild her career as a psychologist after a shattering car accident. But when she meets Bethany Krall - violent, delusional and insistent that she can foresee natural disasters - she begins to fear she has made a terrible mistake.
When catastrophes begin to occur on the very dates Bethany has predicted, the apocalyptic puzzle intensifies and the stakes multiply.'

The third book is one of my old personal favourites, I have actually lost count how many times I have actually read it..
'Jack is five.
He lives in a single, locked room with his Ma'

You're probably thinking 'Oh, is that it?' (yes, it is btw) but if you knew anymore it would ruin it! It's basically about escape and the protagonist is Jack, the 5 year old. It's just so innocent and emotional.. it really is a great book.

Now, on to the next! This one is a bit of a random one for me as I don't really read romance-y books.. but there's always that one that you enjoy isn't there!
'When Ivy's boyfriend Tristen dies, she is desolate without him, until she discovers that Tristen hasn't abandoned her - He's her guardian angel, watching over her, close enough to hear, to see, to touch..
But Ivy's life is in danger. If Tristan rescues her, his mission on Earth will be over and he'll have to leave her behind
Will Ivy lose Tristan forever?'

And last, but not least, one of my current favourite books! I seriously love this book far too much, if there was a fire I would rescue it.. You have probably heard me mention this book a lot in the past..
'Older than her years and completely alone, Temple is just trying to live one day at a time in a post-apocalyptic world, where the undead roam endlessly, and the remnant of mankind who have survived, at times, seem to retain little humanity themselves.
Temple has known nothing else. This is the world she was born into. Her journey takes her to far-flung places, to people struggling to maintain some semblance of civilization - and to those who have created a new world order for themselves.
When she comes across a helpless Maury, she attempts to set one thing right: if she can just get him back to his family then maybe it will bring forgiveness for some of the terrible things she's done in her past. Because Temple has had to fight to survive; along the road she's made enemies - and one vengeful man is determined that, in a world gone mad, killing her is the only thing that makes sense..'

Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them? What are some of your favourite books?
