Books || To me, love me

The other day, my boyfriend and I went to Town to do a bit of shopping, eat and go to the Odeon (we watched Poltergeist, which I will be reviewing soon!), we passed WHSmith and I pretty much dragged him in, aha!
I love walking into book shops and after a while of looking around and reading the synopsis of a few books, I chose Chris Carter's 'The Executioner'

'Inside a Los Angeles church, on the altar steps, lies the blood-soaked, decapitated body of a priest. Carefully positioned, legs stretched out, arms crossed over the chest, the most horrifying thing of all is that the priest's head has been replaced by that of a dog.

Later, the forensic team discover that, on the victim's chest, the figure 3 has been scrawled in blood. At first, Detective Robert Hunter believes that this is a ritualistic killing. But as more bodies surface, he is forced to reassess. All the victims died in the way they feared the most. Their worst nightmares have literally come true. But how could the killer have known? And what links these apparently random victims?

Hunter finds himself on the trail of an elusive and sadistic killer, someone who apparently has the power to read his victims' minds. Someone who can sense what scares his victims the most. Someone who will stop at nothing to achieve his twisted aim.'

I've never heard of this Author before but I read the back of a few of his book in the shop and this one really stood out to me. This books sounds quite interesting and I can't wait to read it! This is definitely the next book that I will read, after I've finished my current one of course!

Have you read this book?

I also obviously bought myself Stephen King's new book 'Finders Keepers', it was on offer for half price too! I am so excited to read this, I just love how Stephen writes!

'Finders Keepers is a masterful, thrillingly suspenseful crime novel about a reader whose obsession with a reclusive writer goes too far'

Eek, I love Stephen King. I can't wait to read his latest book.

I will probably review these books on YouTube channel after I have read them so be sure to subscribe, I have loads of videos planned and scheduled.
