Event || ESPA Skincare

I was lucky enough to be invited to the ESPA summer skincare event last Thursday in Liverpool for the launch of their Little Book of Summer Beauty.
I met up with Danielle and Chelsea and we went there together, we arrived super early and had time for a little chat and a Cafe Nero before we went in.

This was the first event that I have been to and I absolutely loved it. It was in the WOW bar at Beauty Bazaar in Harvey Nichols, Liverpool One.

I've never been in and I didn't know what to expect...

...It looked beautiful, simple but professional.

I loved how everything was set out and displayed (and the chairs were super comfy!)

As we walked in, our names were ticked off a guest list and we were welcomed.
We found a seat, had some prosecco, admired the soothing candle (which smelt lovely) and had a peep at all of their new products which were displayed on a table near us.

When all the other bloggers arrived, Danielle (ESPA counter manager) welcomed us all, told us all about the Little Book of Summer and introduced her team Anna (assistant manager) and Tinisha (part-time therapist).
We were then split into three groups so that we could get the best of our evening.

Danielle came over and sat with our group first, she told us all about each of their new products, how they work and the best ways to use them and we got to try them all. They all smelt delicious and made my skin feel so smooth and soft.
Danielle gave us a lovely little gift bag, which contained a sample of the products that are in The Little Book of Summer Beauty.

We have an Optimal Skin ProSerum, 24-Hour Replenishing Moituriser and some Pink Hair and Scalp Mud, I can't wait to try them out and a review will be up soon so keep your eyes peeled!

Our group then went on over to Tinisha, who gave us a wonderful hand and arm massage and talked us through the products that she was using.
It was so relaxing and my arms felt and smelt amazing even when I got home a few hours later.
I've never had an arm and hand massage before so I didn't know what I was going to think about it but it was so lovely and I definitely wouldn't mind getting another one! Aha!

We then made our last change and went on over to Anna, who performed a skin test on each of us.
We smelt different products and the smells that we were more drawn to told us what our skin was like (dehydrated etc). We were then given another little gift bag with products that were suited to our skin, Anna told us about each product and explained how some of the ingredients work.

I had oily/combination skin and in my gift bag I got Optimal Skin ProSerum, Balancing Herbal Spafresh, 24-Hour Replenishing Eye Moisturiser, Optimal Skin ProCleanser and a 24-Hour Balancing Moisturiser.

I will also be reviewing these products sometime soon on my blog or my youtube, so be sure to follow my Facebook page for an easy way to keep up.

What I love about ESPA products is that they are of amazing quality and a little bit goes a long way so they last for ages.

Thank you so much for having me, I had an amazing time!
I can't wait to have a pamper at home and try out all of these products!

Have you tried any ESPA products?
