LIVERPOOL BLOGGERS CHRISTMAS BLUES PARTY

by - 11:00:00

At the end of January, I was lucky enough to attend the #LivBloggersParty organised by the lovely Steph (Liverpool Bloggers). Steph did absolutely amazing with this event, I enjoyed it so much! I attended the event with my blogger bestie Danielle and Heather who we first met up with at the train station. The event was held at Revolution St Peters Square, we had a whole section in the basement to ourselves with our own bar and everything!
When we first arrived we were each greeted by Steph who welcomed us and showed us to our seating area. We were given a cute little jam jar filled to the brim with candy floss (I LOVE CANDY FLOSS!), it also had a pink balloon and ribbon attached to it. This was such a lovely touch and I thoroughly enjoyed eating my yummy strawberry candy floss.
We all had a mingle and got to know each other, then the cocktail masterclass began!
We all made our way to the bar and were welcomed by the lovely Michael.
We all had a welcome drink of strawberry daiquiri and opened with a game.
Andra, Robyn, Amy and Sam all took part in a 'not my hands cocktail race', it was hilarious!
We then all had a peep at the cocktail menu, picked out our favourite, I obviously went straight for the bubblegum options! We took turns and went behind the bar, Heather, Sam and I went together and made out Bubblegum Daiquiri Vodkaccino! It was absolutely delicious and came complete with a topping of flying saucers, yum! #BUBBLEGUM
During our cocktail masterclass, a wonderful buffet of food was set up behind us and I obviously grabbed myself a piece of pizza.
We sat ourselves back down in out booth and ate, chit chatted and drank our cocktails. Then it was time for the second half of our masterclass.
We split up into two groups, played the game 'over and under' and raced to make a Mojito, we passed the ingredients along the line and the person behind the bar would add them to the cocktail and the first team to make and down the cocktail made won. We finished off with a shot train and I obviously chose the one with bubblegum vodka in, hehe.
When our masterclass was over we sat back down and Steph introduced the Loving Business Cards, we wrote a personal message to each of the other bloggers that attended and gave them out, we all left with a string of lovely messages and social networking sites so we can keep in touch. I absolutely loved this idea and it left me feeling wonderful.

Steph handed us all our goody bags and we all went on our way, I had an amazing time and I can't wait for the next event!

Want to have a look in my goody bags?

The first goody bag that I'm going to show you if from Beauty Bazaar, Harvey Nichols and I am so excited to try everything out!
Inside this amazing little gift bag, I have some lovely goodies from Estee Lauder, the sumptuous extreme mascara, the perfectly clean splash away foaming cleanser and the perfectly clean fresh balancing lotion. I was also given a James Read overnight tan sleep mask, an Environ avst travel pack, Cellex-C moisturising sunscreen, Nails Inc (which I have tried and fell in love with) and a sample of Gucci bamboo (which is absolutely beautiful!).

The second goody bag is a big one (and in a reusable shopping bag that has a little pouch to go in, cute! no more 5p per bag!) and it even has my name on it.
The first thing I took out was a box from Gifts from me to you, inside this box was a hand-made scarf which is so me. I absolutely love it and have worn it so much since the event. The quality of this scarf is amazing and the colours suit my coat so well ;) They also gave me a voucher for 10% off my next order!
