We all make mistakes and that's okay, mistakes are there to learn from, every setback teaches you something.

Some people (for example, me) dwell on their mistakes and can't move on from them - I need to learn to let go, move on and see the positives. You can choose to be like me and be sad, angry, stressed, annoyed about the mistakes that have been made or you can chose to turn it around like future me. I don't feel like it's healthy to live like this, in the past, it packs up your head and you can't move on and get on with your life because you're just stuck in the past.

I'm quite a pessimistic person really, I need to start being more optimistic, I find it hard and always seem to focus on the negatives. I guess it's easier to see the negatives? I know I often miss the positives because I'm thinking too much about the bad.

Seeing life in an optimistic way is hard, especially when we live in a world like this. I'm going to change the word 'hard' to 'challenging' and I am going to challenge myself to see everything in a positive way.

Changing your mindset can change your life.

'A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty' - Winston Churchill
